Dual Beam Polarisation Interferometry
This technique utilises the interference of two light beams transported parallel to a surface within a waveguide structure to detect changes in the interaction of the evanescent field associated with one of the beams with material very near the surface of the waveguide. Like SPR it is used to observe near surface events such as film formation, structural changes and bio-molecular interactions.

Capability
- Quantitative real-time bio-molecule size and fold-density measurements
- Measurement of both mass and structural changes associated with near-surface processes such as macromolecular assembly, antibody binding, and aggregation.
- Study of kinetics of bio-molecular processes including conformational change
Equipment
- Farfield Analight Bio200
