Manufacturing
INEX provides manufacturing services in specialist electronic and photonic devices, microsystems, microfluidics and related devices and subsystems. We extended our ISO9001:2000 certification to include production at a routine audit in September 2008 and intend to seek ISO 9001:2008 Certification in September 2009.
We offer production on a 150mm wafer platform, which is the dominant wafer platform for contract MEMS manufacturers worldwide. We have also developed methods to process smaller and irregular shaped substrates and novel materials on 150mm wafer carriers, and free-standing thin polymer films up to 200mm diameter. We can also offer production packaging and test services, including the conditioning and functionalisation of surfaces of devices used in biological sensing and medical applications.
Our engineers and technicians are drawn from development and production environments in the semiconductor and defence industries.
